Stylish & Pregnant: Top Trends in Maternity Fashion

Pregnant and feeling stressed about what to wear? Have no fear- I'm here to help!  I know soon-to-be moms everywhere dread getting dressed most days, especially in the winter months.  At least in the summer, you can pop on a cute maxi dress and be comfortable all day long.  Now, I have never been pregnant, but I do know something about the struggle of finding stylish maternity clothes firsthand from my mommy friends.  In an effort to help my mommy-to-be readers look their best I turned to expectant celebrity moms to see what's trending.  The result? My list of maternity-wear must haves.  Here are 14 styles I'd definitely sport if I was carrying a bump.

1. Skater Dress

Have lots of parties to attend this season: baby showers, kids birthdays, work functions, or family affairs?   Slip into a flowy skater dress.  Trimmed with lace, this pregnancy-friendly dress has plenty of stretch in the midsection and hugs all your curves in the right places.  The best part- it will help you stay stylish and comfortable all at once!

2. Tunic Top

A tunic top needn’t be the death knoll of a stylish maternity period.  Want to stay comfortable, while still looking fashionable?  This black tunic is great for running errands, going to appointments, or even just cozying up inside on a chilly day.

3. The Skinny Jean

These super-soft skinny jeans are great for you expecting moms.  Wear them on a lunch date with your friends with a long cardigan and tee. Finish off your relaxed look with a modest ankle boot.

8. Don't Shy Away From Prints!

You can still rock statement styles when you’re pregnant.  Go for Gwen's look and clad your baby bump in a graphic print, drop-waist top and matching trousers.
