Give Your Mani Some Sole

Now there's a less pricey way to slip Christian Louboutins on your feet.  The shoe-maker created 31 chic colors for a new nail polish line, including this homage to his signature red soles.  "It's a return to my roots," he says.  His trademark look burst forth two decades ago when he lacquered the arches of a pair of mary janes on a whim.

In this French designer’s typical fashion, the nail polishes don’t sit in any ordinary bottles, they are incased in octagon-shaped bottles with tall spiked caps that look like stiletto heels.  The underside of each cap is even painted red to resemble the signature Louboutin sole.

Rouge Louboutin was the first enamel to hit the shelves of Saks Fifth Avenue and Louboutin stores around the nation this week. These sexy chic shades (Pop, Nude and Noir!) are $50 a bottle started selling in Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and select Sephora stores on August 6. Christian Louboutin has decided to make his red bottom fanatics wait in anticipation for the rest of the 30 shades that will grace stores on August 31.  Can you say oh là là?
