In the Army Now

Gucci
Jason Wu

Military looks marched through the Spring/Summer 2015 Runways with uniform-inspired details including utilitarian belts, camouflage and desert khakis. From cargo pockets to army green, it was all about making something wearable and durable, yet luxe.  At Marc Jacobs, the designer transformed military looks into soft dresses and relaxed silhouettes.  Ralph Lauren was inspired by a safari for his spring 2015 show, but army-influences still prevailed with khaki, green and utilitarian inspired pockets. The trend was softened with feminine skirts and loose-fitting pants by the American designer.  Victoria Beckham's lineup featured buttons, visible shirt pockets and tailored silhouettes in neutral hues perfect for mixing and matching.  Known for his sportswear, Jason Wu delved into utilitarian inspired accents including pockets borrowed from the boys, belts and boxy tops.  Check out these military girls and join the stylish army ranks for spring.
